Abstract
The article reports on the ground temperatures and active layer depths from permafrost regions around the world in 2013. Topics discussed include the variations in arctic permafrost temperatures, the general warm temperatures in the permafrost in the European Alps, and the increase in ground temperatures in central Asia.
