Abstract
The article provides a summary of global sea surface temperatures (SST) in 2013. Topics discussed include the evolutions of the El Niño-Souther Oscilation (ENSO) and Pacific decadal oscillation (PDO), the yearly average Optimal Interpolation SST (OISST) anomaly, and the persistent positive SST anomalies (SSTA) over the Indo-Pacific warm pool (IPWP).
