Abstract
The article presents research which discussed the link between the attitudes and beliefs about the causes of mental disorders. Topics covered include the participation of 6,019 patients with depression as well as schizophrenia and the possibility that a belief in a weak personality could cause mental health problems. Also mentioned is the advantage of explaining mental health problems based on personality characteristics of patients.
