Abstract
: Mtb growth and replication are sensitive to altered levels of the Ser/Thr kinase PknB, and this sensitivity increased under hypoxic conditions. Thus, PknB is a critical regulator of the oxygen-dependent replication switch of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
