Abstract
The article focuses on a comprehensive research program conducted at Olduvai Gorge in Tanzania to determine the biological and cultural evolutionary mechanisms of the Oldowan-Acheulean transition. It says that the study will provide a perspective to the analysis of archaeology, geology, and paleoecology. It mentions a new research programme by the Olduvai Geochronology and Archaeology Project (OGAP) to study on the origins of the Archeulean at Olduvai.
