Abstract
The article reports on the technical issues surrounding the deployment of wave and tidal devices. It mentions that these innovative technologies can suffer from malfunctions when deployed in the aggressive marine environment. According to the author, it is also possible that the wave height affects the efficiency of wave devices as it could surpass the safe operating limit of standard installation vessels.
