Abstract
The article presents a study of the perceptions of the applicability and transferability of public health research, with particular focus on maternal health services and researchers. An online questionnaire was provided for published maternal public health researchers from low- and middle-income countries. Results showed that factors influencing perceptions of applicability and transferability are broader than the factors associated with external validity.
