Abstract
The article presents a study on the role of postdiagnosis alcohol consumption in breast cancer prognosis. The study involving data from the After Breast Cancer Pooling Project (ABCPP) also delves into recurrence and total mortality. Findings show no connection between alcohol consumption after diagnosis and increased risk of cancer recurrence or total mortality. Results indicate that regular consumption of up to three drinks a week can lead to about 20% recurrence risk in postmenopausal women.
