Abstract
The article presents a study which explored the plate tectonic processes that serve as drivers of environmental development, wherein black shales can be laid. The study described an association between black shale deposition and ocean basin evolution. Results showed that the spatial distribution of black shale deposition's environments is held by the plate tectonic basal framework.
