Abstract
The article focuses on the uranium deposits at the Apex mine in Lander County, Nevada which is considered as the largest producer of the said mineral in the state. It mentions that the Apex mine is situated at the dead center in Nevada in which the deposit is located just south of the shabby and rundown village of Austin, Texas. It notes that the uranium deposits at the said location are at near the contact of a Jurassic phyritic quartz monzonite intrusion.
