Abstract
The article reports on the importance of discussing sexuality and intimacy issues with stroke survivors as part of their rehabilitation. A survey which was conducted on staff members of the Rankin Park Centre in Newcastle, New South Wales and found that the center's rehabilitation program did not adequately address stroke patients' needs in the areas of sexuality, intimacy, body image and relationship changes, is discussed. Changes made to the program as a result of the survey are examined.
