Abstract
A letter is presented about a 64-year-old man who developed membranous glomerulonephritis secondary to Borrelia burgdorferi infection after being bitten by a tick on his left leg. The patient presented with progressive oedema, hypoalbuminaemia and nephrotic range proteinuria. Findings of the patient's blood tests, kidney ultrasound and renal biopsy led to the diagnosis of membranous glomerulonephritis. The treatment administered to the patient is also described.
