Abstract
The article reports on the discovery of an ancient Roman house under a villa and office block in Assisi, Italy. The house contains columns, frescoes, shrines, mosaics and high walls all facing the peristyle, a closed area with a centralized garden, making it a unique discovery unlike anything that has been found in the area before.
