Abstract
The article discusses the aftermath of television host David Letterman's disclosure that he had a romantic affair with one of his assistants, Stephanie Birkitt. Letterman is said to be trying hard to repair his marriage to Regina Lasko. After learning of the affair, Birkitt's boyfriend Joe Halderman allegedly tried to extort money from Letterman and has been arrested. INSET: A SCORNED MAN'S FURY.
