Abstract
The article discusses the change in attitude of independent Tanzania towards the influx of refugees in its land. It examines why once hospitable Tanzania is becoming less accommodating to fleeing natives from its neighboring African neighbors. According to the article, refugees that steal crops and cattle are continuing to grow in numbers which causes strain in host country's resources. Stories of economic hardship in Rwanda are also included.
