Abstract
The article reports on the planned extortion of television talk show host David Letterman. On October 1, 2009 Letterman admitted before a grand jury that he'd had sexual relationships with female staff on "The Late Show With David Letterman." Robert Halderman, producer of the television program "CBS News," was arrested on charges of grand larceny for allegedly trying to extort $2 million from Letterman and he pleaded not guilty.
