Abstract
The article discusses the use of near-infrared spectroscopy to determine the age of a bloodstain. The author states that the scientific validated forensic method can make a significant contribution in determining the time of a specific crime. The demonstration shows that bloodstain aged over a month undergoes spectral changes, which can be used to predict the age of the stain.
