Abstract
The article focuses on the tomb of an unknown 5th century BC athlete from Taranto, Italy. The article discusses how the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China, featured an exhibition at the World Art Museum and included a copy of the sarcophagus and bones discovered at the Tomb of the Athlete, as well as the original four amphorae.
