Abstract
The article presents news briefs related to antiquities discovered in the Rome, Italy, area. Archaeologists uncovered a fragment of an equestrian sculpture during work around the Colosseum. It is suggested that a head sculpture found by the Guardia di Finanza may be a depiction of the emperor Lucius Verus. A farmer discovered a second century AD sarcophagus.
