Abstract
The article focuses on the simulation of hot Steckel mill rolling at the laboratory scale. The recrystallization of AISI430 ferritic stainless steel during hot working is considered important for the development of suitable product properties for sheet metal forming. The Steckel mill represents a flexible rolling solution for stainless steels.
