Identifies the major land health and ecological wounds in the northern Sierra Madre Occidental landscape in Mexico. Extirpation of species of native animals; Damage on watersheds, stream channels and riparian forests; Invasion of aggressive and disruptive exotic species of plants and animals; Degradation of forests; Maintenance of viability of focal species.
