Abstract
Chapter 61 of the book "Health Systems Performance Assessment" is presented. It presents the report by the WHO Scientific Peer Review Group on the Health Systems Performance Assessment. The report assessed the scientific merit of various outcome assessment methods and practices and recommended ways to improve them. Suggestions to improve data non-availability and inaccuracy are presented. Hiring more researchers and description of methods are proposed to improve methodology.
