Abstract
Chapter 5 of the book "Long-Term Care in Developing Countries: Ten Case-Studies" is presented. It provides general background data of the long-term care in Lebanon which include the country's demography, vital statistics and epidemiology, and health care expenditure. It mentions the general health and social system applied in the country. Furthermore, it discusses the long-term provision established by the government for the disabled and elderly.
