Abstract
The article focuses on the concept of how silver coins from the Oriental countries reached and flourished in eastern Europe. Details related to the chronology of the silver coin hoards are specifically pointed from the tenth to eleventh centuries. The contacts of the Islamic World and the incorporation of Early Medieval eastern Europe into the Christian community as vehicles for the silver coin hoard movement are also discussed. Trades such as the Central Asian-Baltic trade and the Trans-Saharan trade are also traced as factors for the hoard.
