Abstract
The article focuses on the 1921 Tulsa Race Riot in Oklahoma. The event started upon the release of a news article on the "Tulsa Tribune" that reported an alleged attack made by an African American man to a white female in an elevator. The incident resulted into the destruction of the entire African American community and the creation of the Tulsa Race Riot Commission that will investigate the violence in the city.
