Abstract
The article discusses the study on lithium encephalopathy, an intoxification which has various clinical manifestation but higher neurological symptoms. The disease tends to be gradual then impaired consciousness leading to coma and occasionally death, with neurological effects including seizures, choreiform and parkinsonian movements and cerebellar signs. However, the disease could be treated through hemodialysis because lithium is one of the most readily dialysable toxins.
