Abstract
The article provides some suggestions regarding the management of ocular diseases seen in sexual health practice. Review by a sexual health physician to check for concomitant sexually transmitted diseases and for contact tracing is recommended when a red eye in a patient with gonorrhoea is detected. It is suggested that treatment of patients infected with syphilis should be at least as intensive as for neurosyphilis.
