Abstract
The article offers world news briefs as of April 1916. Germany's reply to the United States regarding the torpedoing of the Sussex and other ships with American passengers and crew was found more ingenious than satisfactory. Germany and Austria will set their clocks one hour ahead starting on May 1, 1916. U.S. government forecasted that there will be no bumper of winter wheat for the year 1916.
