The article presents the perspectives of Walter B. Emery, a graduate from the University of London and Egyptian Exploration Society director, about the great pyramids in Egypt. According to Emery, Egyptian pyramids are architectural hybrids imitated from tomb designs. Emery used the study on the discovered tomb of Queen Her-Neit, an Egyptian queen who died not many years after the establishment of the first Egyptian dynasty, as the basis for his opinion.
