Abstract
Today's competitive arena, organizations are making more efforts to enhance their employees' well-being. This study was conducted on 100 employees to examine the role of psychological capital in workplace well-being. Obtained data were analyzed by using Pearson correlation and stepwise regression analysis. The results of the correlation analysis indicate that optimism, hope, and psychological capital were found to be significantly positively correlated with engagement, positive relationships, meaning of work, accomplishment and overall workplace well-being. Hope and resilience were also found to be significantly negatively correlated with negative aspects of work. Resilience was found to be significantly positively correlated with engagement, meaning of work and overall workplace well-being. Self-efficacy was found to be significantly positively correlated with engagement. The results of stepwise regression analysis conform the results of correlational analysis. The findings underscore the importance of nurturing psychological capital as an integral factor in fostering a positive and thriving work environment conducive to the well-being of employees. Future study and limitations were also discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
