Abstract
This article explores the challenges faced by the Women's and Gender Studies program in Florida due to recent political shifts. The program has had to navigate new laws and regulations, although it is not directly affected by them. Despite these challenges, the program has seen an increase in student interest and engagement. The author, Diane Price Herndl, believes that gender studies will continue to thrive in Florida, highlighting the program's resilience and the addition of "sexuality" to its name. The article also discusses the connection between the pandemic and the assault on gender studies, as well as the influence of right-wing parent groups in the state. [Extracted from the article]
