Abstract
This article discusses an unprecedented outbreak of dengue fever in Taiwan following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions. The study found that the reduction in international travel during the pandemic resulted in a decline in reported dengue cases. However, after the relaxation of measures and the resumption of international transportation, there was a significant increase in imported and locally acquired dengue cases. The study also suggests that climate change and international transportation may impact the spread of dengue. The authors emphasize the importance of preventing and controlling dengue outbreaks in the post-COVID-19 era. [Extracted from the article]
