Abstract
This article discusses the implementation of a school-based health center in Glenbrook High School District 225 in Glenview, Illinois. The district converted existing classroom and storage space into a health center, which provides affordable healthcare services to students and staff. The center offers a range of services, including physical examinations, immunizations, counseling, diagnostic tests, and referrals for specialty medical care. Funding for the health center was obtained through grants and reimbursements, and the district actively seeks funding from state and federal sources. The center has been successful in its first year of operation, with high patient satisfaction ratings. The district plans to continue expanding and improving the center's services in the future.
