Abstract
The article explores the association between serum levels of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFASs) and lipid profile, as well as metabolic syndrome in Czech adults, based on data from the HBM-EHES survey 2019. Topics include the detection of six PFASs in serum samples, significant positive associations between certain PFASs and blood cholesterol levels, and the absence of an association between PFASs and metabolic syndrome prevalence.
