Abstract

Topics include addressing cutting-edge challenges like human-brain organoids, artificial intelligence (AI), and interspecies chimeras; and concern arises specifically when individuals lack intellectual capacities that Western views deem necessary for personhood, such as sentience, consciousness, autonomy, and rationality.
