Abstract
The article discusses the archaeological discovery of a smaller stone temple in the ancient city of Paestum in southern Italy, dating to the early fifth century B.C., with terracotta decorations and numerous votive offerings, suggesting it may have been dedicated to the sea god Poseidon.
