Abstract
The article discusses the importance of visual-field testing by confrontation as a bedside examination technique for identifying defects in visual pathways, especially in cases involving mild and anterior pathway defects. It highlights alternative confrontation tests, such as kinetic finger wiggle and kinetic red stimulus, that can improve sensitivity without compromising specificity in evaluating patients with visual symptoms.
