Abstract
The article provides insights into organic mixed ionic-electronic conductors (OMIECs) and their significance in electrochemical devices for applications in bioelectronics, chemical sensors, neuromorphic computing, and energy storage. It highlights the challenges in accurately describing the device physics of OMIECs, particularly regarding volumetric capacitance (C), and discusses different models used to understand their behavior.
