Abstract
The article presents a comparison study on the effects of family resource centers (FRC) on the referral rates to child protective services (CPS) in the western U.S. The FRCs are part of a child maltreatment prevention program in the country. Also cited are the services provided by FRCs in collaboration with social service providers like job training, substance abuse rehabilitation, housing, and education.
