Abstract
The article reports on the archaeological finds discovered at the ancient city of Chimor or Chan Chan in Peru. The city was built by the Chimu people in around 1000 A.D. and became the largest urban center in the Americas during the period. Also cited are the comments of archaeologists Gabriel Prieto of University of Florida and Jerry Moore of California State University, Dominguez Hills, on the site.
