Abstract
The article presents a study that explores how mitochondrial pyruvate metabolism regulates the activation of quiescent adult neural stem cells. It mentions the findings of study highlight the importance of metabolism for neural stem/progenitor cell (NSPC) regulation and identify an important pathway through which mitochondrial pyruvate import controls NSPC quiescence and activation.
