Abstract
The article discusses case of Maurice who has critical condition and suffered gunshot wound causing neurological injury and mentions need to healthcare team by multidisciplinary collaboration to trust ethics consultants to communicate with the family. Topics discussed include need of building trust with the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to develop and hone skills related to trauma informed care, and professional standards in clinical ethics consultation.
