Abstract
The article discusses research which aimed to determine if treatment-naive patients with early rheumatoid arthritis (RA) have cardiovascular disease and if it is modifiable with therapy. Topics covered include the characteristics of the subjects included in the study, myocardial perfusion in treatment-naive patients with early RA compared with healthy controls, and the limitations of the study.
