Abstract
The article offers information on the prevalence of SARS-CoV-2 and influenza coinfection and clinical characteristics among hospitalized or died children and adolescents in the U.S. It further discusses about the period of complete recovery between illness onset and death; use of invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation among coinfected patients; and the implications for public health practice including influenza and COVID-19 vaccination and use of mask.
