Abstract
As aspiring surgeons, we recognize the importance of mental health in establishing a healthy workplace culture,1 and were intrigued to understand the impact of COVID-19 and demographic factors in shaping trainees' experiences. Whilst previous literature attests to workplace factors' impact on trainees' mental health during the pandemic,2 we are thankful to see an equivalent evaluation of non-workplace factors.
