Abstract
The article reports a population-based cohort study to demonstrate a relationship between outdoor fine particulate air pollution (PM2.5) and mortality caused due to low concentrations. It discusses the new guidelines released by the World Health Organization (WHO) for outdoor fine particulate air pollution (PM2.5) recommended an annual average concentration. It indicates the importance of reducing outdoor air pollution around the world.
