Abstract
In the article, the authors reflect on the history of feminist activism in Great Britain during the 20th century by focusing on the Women's Liberation Movement (WLM). Other topics include the laws passed in the 1970s like the Sex Discrimination Act, the Equal Pay Act, and the Domestic Violence and Matrimonial Proceedings Act, sexual politics, and the objectification of the female body under the male gaze.
