Abstract
The article presents a study on the Noncanonical activation of a glioma-associated oncogene (GLI) signaling in SOX2+ cells drives medulloblastoma(MB) relapse. It discusses the mechanism and treatment with vismodegib, an sonic hedgehog (SHH) inhibitor that acts on Smoothened (Smo) which led to increases in astrocyte-like Sox2+. It also looks at the therapies targeting GLI to deplete SOX2+ cells and provide stable tumor remission.
