Abstract
The authors comment on the target article "Algorithms for Ethical Decision-Making in Clinic: A Proof of Concept," which explores the possibility of using an algorithmic advisory system for clinical ethics called METHAD to provide ethical advice. Topics include operationalization of ethical principles, reason that the rationale of ethical advice is made by artificial intelligence (AI), and a commendable degree of humility displayed by the authors on behalf of METHAD.
