Abstract
The essay discusses a study on the translation of the Headache-Attributed Restriction, Disability, Social Handicap and Impaired Participation (HARDSHIP) questionnaire into the Croatian language and its diagnostic validation. The study identifies discrepancies in forward translations and the necessary cultural adaptations relating to total annual net household income quintiles and medications for headache treatment. Dignostic validation results presented reveal cases of headache and migraine.
